The 9th edition of the Reykjavik International Film Festival finally arrived!
22. September til 2. October 2011
The 9th edition of the Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) finally arrived! The RIFF program is once more packed with a great variety of Icelandic and International films. With its authentic approach based on innovation, networking and dialogue, the RIFF developed in the last years to one of the foremost festivals for progressive and independent cinema in Europe. RIFF has become a great platform for upcoming and established, Icelandic and International filmmakers alike to show and share their work for further inspiration.
The aim of the Festival is nothing less than to change your life:
“We believe that films and art can change people’s lives for the better. Films are not only objects of aesthetics; they are a powerful weapon against ignorance and indifference.”
We totally agree and wish you an awesome RIFF 2011!
